It may not change the world around me, but my personal world feels much brighter.
I believe in science and thank everyone who used whatever resources available to make this happen in record time.
One down—one to go!

You and I are tied at one apiece 🙂 Congratulations! I’m hopeful that each increment like the one you wrote about and pictured *will* change the world around us. Of course, it’s going to take some time. I was shaking my head, just yesterday, about the number of states not yet making teachers a priority for vaccines. (Sigh)
I’m old, though younger than those in the first two phases, and not a full-time teacher. This time I can say, “Age has its benefits.”
I felt the same way after my first shot. Number 2 is on the 20th.
Congrats. Shit #2 is coming for me on Thursday. I hope to write about it next Friday.
Your typo made me laugh, Adrienne. I’m looking at April Fools Day for my second, no joke! Also I played PICTIONARY with my kids. Awesome. Thanks for that.
I had to go back and look for the typo. I am mortified 😧😬
OMG… I typed in a hurry. SO embarrassed.
Please…I’m just happy you read my post.
Hooray! I felt SO relieved after my 1st and feel so happy to be fully vaccinated now. Very grateful to be a K-12 teacher and prioritized in my state.
